The Johnson City, Tennessee laboratory offers a full suite of of environmental chemistry, food microbiological and cutting edge biotech analyses and method development. The laboratory was established upon Microbac's acquisition of GPL-Tennessee in 2009. Originating in 1974, the laboratory serves a large number of clients in the upper East Tennessee region. Operating within Microbac's Tennessee Division, the Johnson City operation is the only laboratory in the upper East Tennessee region offering onsite bioassay analyses. The laboratory is also in an extremely exclusive laboratory group, carrying DOE approval for bioassay analyses.
