The Marietta, Ohio laboratory provides environmental testing services to a vast range of industries. The Ohio Valley Division (OVD) continues to build upon its three-plus decades of experience with a list of Fortune 500 Industrial Client Master Service Agreements and an extensive résumé of federal investigation, remediation and compliance projects, primarily through long-term relationships with environmental consulting firms. With qualifications in 46 states and Puerto Rico, Microbac OVD provides analysis for shale development and exploration, service to the coal industry, and has a strong reputation within the DoD environmental community, providing analytical support to all branches at bases around the world.
In 2009, the Ohio Valley Division was among the first class of laboratories to earn A2LA DoDELAP/ISO 17025 accreditation. Performing DoD analysis for over 20 years, Microbac’s Ohio Valley Division offers products and services to meet the needs of our DoD clients, including: LCMS/MS capabilities, perchlorates, explosives and propellants, MIS Sample Preps (Puck Mill), and Chemical Weapons Degradation Products.
Heavily audited, the Marietta laboratory participates in an array of third-party quality assessments annually, and is consistently rated by the American Council of Independent Laboratories (ACIL) as one of the top laboratories nationwide for data quality, responsiveness and service excellence. To support those metrics of lab performance, OVD has invested heavily in bench level and data management automation – allowing for enhanced TAT’s and flexibly-arrayed deliverables. OVD continues to evolve in both products and services as the needs of our clients shift with new regulatory or economic drivers.
