Microbac Purchases Assets of Elemental Research, LLC

Pittsburgh, PA – Microbac Laboratories, Inc. has acquired the assets of Elemental Research, LLC. The purchase includes an ICP-MS, which resides at Microbac’s Camp Hill (PA) Division, as well as the addition of Brian Kiser of Elemental Research, LLC. Kiser is now the Inorganics Manager at the Camp Hill Division, overseeing metals and wet chemistry analyses.

"Elemental Research is very proud to join Microbac and we look forward to expanding the analytical testing capabilities of its Camp Hill Division to include trace metals analysis by ICP-MS," said Brian Kiser, Elemental Research, LLC's managing member.  "This acquisition will allow Elemental to continue to build on the opportunities which were provided to us by our founder, the late Dr. Donald L. Kiser."

According to Cherie Casari, a Microbac Vice President/Regional Director, the purchase of Elemental Research, LLC’s ICP-MS and the addition of Kiser will significantly impact the Camp Hill Division.

“We look forward to Brian’s knowledge in helping Microbac's Camp Hill Division expand the market, as well as our repertoire of capabilities,” Casari said. “The ICP-MS allows us to analyze drinking water at low levels which will enhance our capabilities, increase production, and improve turnaround time.”
