    Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

    Trevor Boyce is the CEO and Chairman of the Board at Microbac Laboratories, Inc. With over 40 years of distinctive leadership, he oversees the daily operations of Microbac’s thirty-four analytical laboratories and ensures the profitability and sustained effectiveness of the company. 

    Throughout his career, Trevor has held pivotal roles in the company, starting in 1983 as Assistant to the President. Later serving as Laboratory Director, he established a new laboratory location, and merged it into Microbac, acquiring valuable company stock. After becoming Executive Vice President, he worked closely with his father, A. Warne Boyce, the founder of Microbac, and Chief Operating Officer Bob Morgan. In 1993, he was appointed President & CEO, and in 2009, he advanced to his current role as CEO.  

    Trevor earned a B.A. in Humanities with Science from Hampden Sydney College and has completed executive programs at the University of Pittsburgh, Harvard University, and MIT. He displays a proven commitment to education and community service, supporting Junior Achievement’s Project Business and serving in many roles with the ACIL Education Foundation. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Hampden Sydney College, Waynesburg University, and the Weekapaug Fire District. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors for Orbeco Analytical Systems Inc. and Southern Testing & Research Laboratories. He is a member of the Institute of Food Technologists, Water Pollution Control Association, and Board of Advisors for the microbiology department at Beatty Technical School. J.Trevor is also a member of Microbac’s Executive Committee, steering the company towards continued growth and excellence in laboratory services.

    Trevor Boyce is a member of The Duquesne and Longue Vue Clubs of Pittsburgh, and the Shelter Harbor Golf Club in Rhode Island. He is married to Jeannie Ann Wakelyn-Boyce and father to Alexandra, Austin, and Grayson.
