Rachel Allen

As Microbac’s Chief Legal Officer, Rachel Lorey Allen is responsible for all aspects of legal function for the company. In over 30 years of legal practice, Rachel has demonstrated excellence in leadership, business growth, and risk management. 

After earning her B.S. in Economics from Allegheny College, Rachel obtained her J.D. from the University of Virginia. Previously, Rachel was a partner at Jones Day and has worked as a principal lawyer in matters spanning a wide range of industries. 

Passionate about company growth, Rachel is thrilled to work at a business that makes the world a better place. She is a responsive leader, an involved listener, and a dedicated volunteer for many charitable organizations. Rachel has served on the board of the Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh for more than 25 years. She is also the current chairperson and a founding member of the Three Rivers Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors. 

At home in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, Rachel enjoys golf, pickleball, reading, knitting, traveling, and walking Charlie, the family’s mini Bernedoodle. She has written for professional publications, has co-authored a children’s book with her daughter, and is finishing her first novel. Rachel and her husband Brian look forward to celebrating their upcoming 25th wedding anniversary.
