Chris Long

Chris Long is Microbac’s Vice President for Northeast Operations. Her role includes enhancing production rates and profit margins, strategizing growth, and optimizing quality and efficiency, all contributing to the laboratory’s daily and long-term success.

Modeling a clean desk approach, Chris is highly productive and driven to continuous improvement. She helps the company achieve sizable goals and make a positive impact in protecting the public and the environment. Providing authentic, humble leadership, Chris is dedicated to mentorship and encourages her colleagues to be the best version of themselves. Chris is always up for humor or a challenge, once trudging to the lab in three feet of snow. She is a distinctive customer liaison for the network and a loyal 20-year Microbac employee. 

In addition to a B.S. in Biology, Chris has earned several certifications that include: McCrone Institution Certified for Fungal Spore Identification, DOA Certified Dairy Director, DOT Hazmat Certified, NELAC Chemistry Technical Director, and DEP Contact Hours Instructor. Chris is a wildlife rehab volunteer and actively supports several animal shelters. She is passionate about her family and enjoys being outdoors with her two young children. She also enjoys snowboarding, attending concerts, fresh and saltwater fishing, and collecting crystals.
