Dr. Michelle Carpenter

Dr. Michelle Carpenter is Microbac’s Operations Manager and Radiological Safety Officer. She provides leadership for the company’s specialized radiological testing capabilities, overseeing lab operations, staff performance, analysis, quality, compliance, and radiation safety programs. Michelle has over 30 years of international experience in laboratory operations and has consulted for various industries, including petroleum, manufacturing, and waste management.

Dr. Michelle has earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Science, specializing in Applied Chemistry, and has an MS in Environmental Science, specializing in Process Chemistry. She holds a B.S. in Biochemistry and has completed many certifications related to her field.

Passionate about creating environments of safety, excellence, and operational sustainability, Dr. Michelle is also dedicated to mentoring technical professionals. She is a reliable and supportive leader who offers deep technical expertise combined with real-world experience. She enjoys watching teams succeed, building processes that endure, and contributing to community safety.

Dr. Michelle Carpenter is a member of her community board and various professional organizations. A participant in several book clubs, she is also an avid teddy bear collector and enjoys studying and wearing historic and artistic timepieces.
