Laura M. Rowson

As Microbac’s Laboratory Director, Laura M. Rowson is responsible for the overall operations of the facility. Laura manages inside operations, including production, process evaluation, and monitoring. She also monitors and oversees the operation of the lab’s equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe work environment for staff and exceptional service and experience for clients. She works closely with the Quality Team to verify method, SOP, and regulatory standards compliance, including GLP, cGMP, GCP, and ISO 17025.

With a 30-year track record of excellence in business and accounting, Laura holds an AAS in Business Management and an AS in Business Administration. She is a patient leader who celebrates teamwork and community. Passionate about lifelong learning and improvement, she is committed to developing her team as they face daily challenges together.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys traveling with her husband to discover new countries and cultures. Originally from western New York (GO BILLS!) Laura has lived in five other states, including Michigan, where she was a founding member and treasurer of an emergency services first responder unit.
