Moriah Beltz

Moriah Beltz is the Laboratory Director, overseeing the daily operations for environmental testing at Microbac’s Louisville, Kentucky location. She is also responsible for the quality, safety, financial, technical, human resource, and service performance of Microbac’s Louisville, Kentucky, and Maryville, Tennessee
locations. She verifies that the facility, instrumentation, and equipment are well-maintained and in good working order. She provides customer support and technical consultations and ensures that the laboratory has the proper personnel, facilities, equipment, supplies, and time to execute new projects successfully. An empathetic, relatable, knowledgeable leader, Moriah is an involved team member who is always ready to listen. She brings a go-get-em attitude and abundant positive energy to the workplace. Moriah’s professional passion is metals analysis by ICP-MS, and she enjoys nerding out on speciation. Her passion is helping people find their passion. She enjoys introducing college students to the industry and answering questions to inspire and build the knowledge of the next generation. In addition to earning a Master of Science in Chemistry, Moriah holds a forklift certification, which came in handy when she handled large amounts of chemicals at a manufacturing plant.She lives an active lifestyle near her home across the river in Indiana. Moriah has completed a marathon and earned black belts in two martial arts disciplines. She loves watching football (Go Pack Go) and has participated in Dynasty Fantasy Football for more than a decade.
