Robert Brooks

Robert Brooks is the Molecular Biology Operations Director at the company’s core molecular facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The lab’s principal investigator and lead researcher, he oversees daily operations and handles consulting, project management, staffing, and business development.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Robert earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Zoology / Genetics, Microbiology, Cellular Biology, and Botany, with a minor in Biochemistry. He is a 10-year member of the A2LA Accreditation Council.

Robert is a molecular biologist with over 25 years of experience in Research and Development. He has served as a Senior Project Manager, Client Services Specialist, and Quality Director. He is committed to teaching and supporting his team members, helping them succeed and grow. A hardworking leader, he is always willing to take on a formidable challenge, which makes every workday different and never boring. An avid supporter of STEM education, Robert speaks at STEM class groups in his spare time.
