Taylor H. Mitchell

Taylor Mitchell is Operations Manager at Microbac’s Wilson, North Carolina location, where she oversees the daily functions of the laboratory. While managing operational performance and supporting strategic growth initiatives, she serves as a key liaison for clients.

Taylor earned a degree in Biology with a minor in Exercise and Sport Science from UNC-Chapel Hill. While leading and developing laboratory teams, she fosters a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

An available and responsive leader, she is invested in her team members, challenging them to stretch their capabilities while celebrating their successes.

Microbac’s mission statement: A Better World, One Test at a Time is something that Taylor promotes passionately. She finds it rewarding to see Microbac’s tested products on the consumer shelves and know that they are safe for families.

Outside of work, Taylor spends most of her time with her husband, daughter, and their black lab on the family’s farm. She enjoys being outside, running, golfing, offshore sportsfishing, and gathering with friends and family around a good meal. Taylor supports Samaritan’s Purse, SPCA, breast cancer research, and Hope Station, a local food bank.
