Microbac's Food Safety Consultant: Trevor Craig

Trevor Craig grew up in St. Louis, where from a young age, he cultivated a passion for problem solving.From exploring the lifecycle of plants as a child on his parents seven acres to investigating what causes humans to get sick through his studies in biochemistry, cellular and Molecular Biology at Drake University in Iowa and eventually dedicating his career to research, development and consulting for food manufacturers – Trevor has always had an affinity for finding solutions.

His career thus far has been defined by concentrated experience in and out of the lab. From spending four years in food ingredient research and development with a focus on ingredients that reduced bacterial growth and increasing bioavailability in human and animal feed, to entering 3rd party analytical testing, managing his own laboratory and eventually accepting a position with Microbac, the nation’s largest private testing firm – Trevor has touched nearly every aspect of the food industry. And while Trevor’s role is complex, we can define it simply; he’s a problem solver.
